According to OSEN on the afternoon of December 3, both Kang Dong-won and Lim Ji-yeon have positively reviewed and ultimately accepted offers to appear in “Wild Thing”.

“Wild Thing” follows the story of Triangle, a once-popular three-member co-ed group that fades into obscurity after a scandal, only to reunite in a chaotic journey. The film will be directed by Son Jae-gon, known for works such as “My Scary Girl” (2006), “Villain and Widow” (2010) and “Secret Zoo” (2020). The production will be handled by About Film, the company behind “Extreme Job” (2019), which ranked second in the all-time Korean film box office with 16 million viewers.

Kang Dong-won and Lim Ji-yeon will portray members of the co-ed group Triangle. This marks their first collaboration, with the two actors exploring their on-screen chemistry in a comedy, rather than a melodrama or romance. Fans eagerly anticipate the synergy they will bring to the project.

Kang Dong-won has garnered praise from global audiences this year for his performances in the films “The Plot” and Netflix’s “Uprising”. Following his upcoming Disney+ original series “Tempest”, he will take on a new challenge in comedy with “Wild Thing”.
